Pumpkin Nog

Pumpkin Nog

During the fall and winter, don’t let hot chocolate get all the hot beverage glory. This pumpkin nog is warming, subtly sweet, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It’s a wonderful pick-me-up on the chilliest of days and reminds us of pumpkin pie in drinkable form.

Servings: 3

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 5 minutes | Total Time: 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups whole organic milk

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

  • 2-3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plain cinnamon can be substituted)

  • pinch of sea salt

  • 2 scoops collagen peptides, optional

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.

  2. Pour into a saucepan and heat over medium-low, whisking occasionally, until heated through.

  3. Portion into mugs, add toppings if you like, and enjoy.

TOPPINGS IDEAS

We love whipped cream and an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice on top!

NOTES

Adding collagen not only provides additional nutrients to this bevy, it also makes it nice and frothy!

MAKE IT DAIRY FREE AND/OR VEGAN

Simply substitute your favorite non-dairy milk for a dairy-free option. We enjoy coconut milk because it’s nice and thick. To make it vegan, just use the non-dairy milk of your choice and omit the collagen.
