What do you do with carrot tops?
We’re glad you asked! Hands down our favorite use is to make Carrot Top Pesto. This is a fun spin on the more traditional basil kind and freezes beautifully, so you can make a big batch and use as needed.
Other ways to enjoy farm fresh carrot tops include:
chop them finely into salads and scrambles
add them to soups, stews, curries and daals
toss them into your green smoothie or juice
make vegetable broth with carrot tops and a variety of vegetable scraps
