INGREDIENTS:

  • your favorite crackers (we like Milton’s Multigrain but any cracker will do)

  • 2 bulbs black garlic, peeled

  • smoked gouda cheese, sliced thin into a size that will fit on your cracker of choice

  • 1 slicing tomato, sliced into thin triangles

  • Garlic Za’atar, for sprinkling

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place crackers on a serving tray and set aside.

  2. In a small bowl, smash peeled black garlic cloves with the back of a fork until a thick paste forms. Spread a thin layer on each cracker.

  3. Add a slice of cheese atop the black garlic, then place a tomato slice on that.

  4. Liberally sprinkle the Garlic Za’atar over the cracker stacks and finish with parsley, if desired.
